I’ve grown up in the church in many ways. Sure, I haven’t always been in church, but for most of my life I’ve been exposed to a traditional church setting. We’ve been going through two series at church, and both have been radically challenging my idea of church.
When I woke up this morning my first thought was “Why are you going to church this morning?” This immediately got me thinking, and helped me realise that I’ve been going to church, for some time now, purely out of habit. Being a Christian isn’t about going to church, it’s about knowing and loving God. I’ve known this for a while, but it really struck me hard this morning.
So why would I go and change my screen name from leew4jc to UniekLee? Well, there are a number of reasons, so I thought I would explain.
First of all, I have to say that I had nothing against the screen name leew4jc. It has served me well over the years, and it has significant meaning to me. However, I feel that UniekLee better represents who I am.
